Basketball

This week I went to see The Knicks vs. The Boston Celtics in a pre-season NBA game in Madison Square Garden. Great to experience the atmosphere but I'll probably never really become a basketball fan - the game is too slow, too many interruptions... Anyway, of course it was fun to stand and listen to The Star-Spangled Banner and cheer for the home boys - who won 107-101. Yeah!
Below a picture of the game and of the cheer leaders.

Exploring Manhattan...

I must admit - I am better at going out and seeing things than to report them on the blog. But I do want to share some photos from my last sightseeings around town.
Below you see the Statue of Liberty - isn't she nice?

The park between World Financial Center and Battery Park (don't remember what it's called)

Ground Zero on which Freedom Tower will be constructed. Check the web site http://www.renewnyc.com/plan_des_dev/wtc_site/new_design_plans/Freedom_Tower/default.asp it,s really a fascinating construction!

New Jersey (yes, there's life outside Manhattan)

A tough life in NYC...

Sitting in the library at NYU, supposing to write a case to my strategy class, my good friend Paulina was so kind to send some pictures from parties from the last weeks.
The top one is from this Friday at the house warming party at zzze crazzy germanz', Dominik and David. Thanks for a great party guys. In the picture you see me, Sara (CBS), with Sebastian and Christopher, who are exchange students from Germany.

Below that two pictures from a party last week in the Cro Bar. It was arranged by the Latin American Business Association and, well, it was quite amuzing :-). The first picture features yours sincerely with Peter KiƦr (CBS) and Miguel from Venezuela in a Bavarian restaurant drinking big beers. The next one, again, yours sincerely dancing embarrasingly (again...).

Back to work...
